Tunneling Under the Alps

The Alps are a scenic wonder to most of the world, but to merchants and truckers, they're roadblocks and bottlenecks. Engineers have designed a solution to keep Europe moving more efficiently, the AlpTransit Tunnel, an incredible 35-mile tunnel directly through the Alps.
