EXPEDITION X

The Island of the Dolls, is a small island located in the canals of Xochimilco. Legend says that a the island’s caretaker, Don Julian Santana Barrera, found the body of a young girl who had drowned, along with her doll.

It is said that Don Julian hung the found doll from a tree to make peace with the spirit, but within a few years he had covered the island with strange, broken dolls. 50 years later, in 2001, Don Julian’s body was discovered in the same spot as the girl he found.

Jessica and Phil step foot on the island and immediately sense a ghostly energy.

Phil investigates the gas levels of the island, but finds that though they are high, it is not enough to cause hallucinations as he first believed.

Jessica sits in the shack where the original doll was hung, to see if her presence triggers any paranormal activity.

After reviewing the footage, the Expedition X team noticed lights flickering, tapping and other noises throughout the island.
