Alaskan Bush People’s Bear Brown and Ex-Fiance are Expecting a Baby!
Although the engagement has been called off, Bear and Raiven are committed to becoming dedicated parents.
There’s a little bear cub on the way! Bear Brown and Raiven are expecting their first child together.
Bear told PEOPLE: "Raiven and I are excited to share we’re expecting a baby this spring! Even though we’re no longer together, we’re still friends and are dedicated to raising a healthy and happy child. Raiven will be an amazing mom and I will work my hardest to be the best dad I can be! Family is everything to me and we appreciate everyone’s support as we figure out our new normal."

Raiven is also excited for parenthood: "Baby Brown was a little bit of a surprise but Bear and I are both so excited! We’re still in an early stage but we’ve talked a lot about how to make this work and prioritize the baby. We know the strength of our friendship and support of our families will allow us to raise a happy child."
Despite calling off their engagement, Bear and Raiven are dedicated to raising the baby together. The exact due date is unknown but they expect the arrival in spring 2020.
Until then, Raiven is focused on staying healthy.
"Pregnancy is no joke! I’m not sleeping much and I’m pretty sick but still feeling very blessed. We’ll find out the gender as soon as we can... I’d be thrilled with a boy or girl."
As previously reported - on September 10, 2019, Bear Brown and Raiven called off their engagement and parted ways two weeks after announcing the proposal. The couple separated on amicable terms and will remain as friends. In a statement to PEOPLE Bear stated: “Raiven and I have made the difficult decision to part ways as a couple. She is a wonderful person and I will always care for her. Sometimes people are better as friends and that’s perfectly okay. I will always wish the best for her in life.”
