The Leader of the Pack

Throughout his life, Billy Brown became an expert outdoorsman. He enjoyed living in the bush and spending time side by side with wildlife.

Billy Found his Soulmate in Wife Ami

Billy Brown and met his adventure match when he fell in love with Ami. The two married and quickly decided to raise their large family in Alaska.

At One with Nature

Billy was constantly on the lookout for a new remote high mountain lake or stream to go fishing, one of his greatest passions in life.

Billy's Campfire

Billy loved making a family campfire, where he could cook meals and sit together with the whole family.

An Incredible Teacher

Building many of their homes by hand, Billy taught his children how to live off of the land. He is seen here helping Rain Brown drive drill.

Billy spent years as a commercial fisherman in the northern Pacific, and later in life used his expertise in his role as the skipper on family boat trips.

A Man Ready to Live off the Land

Billy spearheaded the family's quest for complete freedom, including procuring livestock.

Billy supported his wife Ami through her own health troubles in the past few years.

Rest in Peace, Billy

"As long as Ami and my family are beside me, I'll ride the wind of adventure to the end," said Billy. RIP to a great man.
