Inocencio Madera was born and raised in Bakersfield California. From a young age, Madera naturally gravitated towards tinkering and fixing things. From a young age ‘Madera’ had a love for fixing up bicycles and mini bikes. At age 14 his father bought him a welder … This started his life long passion for fabrication. As a child Madera always wanted a bobber bike (a mini motorcycle) but his family was too poor to buy him one, so he did what any kid with a welder would do … he built one, and another and another. Soon he was building custom bobbers and bikes for friends and eventually to sell. It became a small business for him.
Madera’s an interesting character with a colorful yet dead-pan sense of humor. To know him is to love him. When Madera’s not working on custom fabrication projects he’s raising prize winning lambs on his farm or camping … Madera, his wife and his kids LOVE camping and would do it all the time if they could.
