Sand tiger sharks display a mouthful of sharp teeth that protrude in all directions, even when its mouth is closed.
Despite their menacing appearance, sand tiger sharks are a docile and non-aggressive shark species.
False pilchards form tight clusters, often in a ball shape, to avoid predators – which this sand tiger shark has just disturbed.

The sandbar shark exhibits countershading, which is a form of camouflage coloration. The sandbar shark is gray-brown to bronze on the back and flanks, and white underneath.
Did you know whale sharks are the largest fish in the sea?!
Yes - this is a species of shark! The spotted wobbegong shark is nocturnal and possess a spiracle which allows it to breathe while remaining motionless on the ocean floor.
Each whale shark has its own individual spot pattern; like human fingerprints, no two are exactly alike.
