Even for me as an individual, the park has a multi-decade meaning, and I contemplate what its future really can be.

No matter how many times I come back here, I am always mesmerized by the color of the thermal features. Remember to stay on the trail, these can be dangerous, albeit beautiful natural wonders.

Photographed in 2008, I wanted to show Old Faithful from a unique angle, so I waited for one of the last eruptions of the day and put the setting sun behind it for a silhouette, resulting in this image.

For years I've seen a red fox in this same area of the Lamar Valley. My most recent trip doesn't disappoint, as you'll see this fuzzy friend starring in the latest vlog for Nature in Focus.
