Marc Marquez Continues Winning Streak At 2019 Czech MotoGP
The racer from Spain took first place on the Brno Circuit, continuing his streak as one the most successful international motorcycle racers of all time.
The 2019 Czech MotoGP Republic Motorcycle Grand Prix (MotoGP) took place on August 4 in the city of Brno.
Marc Marquez of Spain took first place on the Brno Circuit, which boasts a track length of 3.357 miles (5.403 km) and 14 turns. Marquez continued his domination on the leaderboard, racking up his sixth win of the ten races held so far this year. The 26-year-old has continued his streak as one the most successful international motorcycle racers of all time, claiming gold in five of the six years he’s competed since his MotoGP debut in 2013. With a 63 point lead so far, Marquez looks primed to claim top honors for a fourth consecutive year.
Andrea Dovizioso of Italy and Jack Miller of Australia took second and third, respectively. Dovizioso sits in second place overall, where he remained at the finale of the past two MotoGP seasons.

The Czech MotoGP represented the 10th round of the 2019 Motorcycle Grand Prix racing season. Racers will go on to complete worldwide for nine additional rounds until battling for their final point tally at the Gran Premio de la Comunitat Valenciana on November 17 in Spain.
Motorcycle racing in Brno is a tradition that has taken place since 1930. The city of Brno in the Czech Republic historically hosts the Grand Prix with the first event dating back to 1965.
The track in Brno is the second most used racing venue for the Grand Prix after Assen in the Netherlands.
