Zion National Park
Zion Canyon is distinguished by its steep red cliffs. Located in southwest Utah, Zion National Park is home to Virgin River, Emerald Pools, and Zion Narrows, a famous wading hike.
Arches National Park
Arches National Park has more than 2,000 natural sandstone arches. This marvel of nature lies north of Moab, Utah. Visitors come from far and wide to see Delicate Arch, Landscape Arch, Devils Garden, and Balanced Rock.
Capitol Reef National Park
Capitol Reef may be a lesser-known national park, but it isn't any less beautiful. Located in south-central Utah, Capitol Reef is a hidden treasure filled with orchards, canyons, and Waterpocket Fold. Visitors come to camp, rock climb, hike, and ride horses.
Canyonlands National Park
Located in southeastern Utah, Canyonlands is known for its dramatic landscape. The park's famous horseshoe shape was carved by the Colorado River. Canyonlands' notable areas include the Needles rock pinnacles, Maze canyons, and the Native American rock paintings at Horseshoe Canyon.
Bryce Canyon National Park
This sprawling reserve is located in Southern Utah. Bryce Canyon National Park is famous for its hoodoos, irregular columns of rock (pictured above). This is one of the state's better-known national parks and is home to Rim Trail, Sunrise Point, Inspiration Point, and Bryce Point.
