Salzburg, Austria
Salzburg's famous old town and iconic Hohensalzburg fortress decorated for the Christmas holidays. The old town is one of the best-preserved city centers in Europe, therefore it became an UNESCO World Heritage in 1997.
Schloss Leopoldskron
The Schloss Leopoldskron is a palace that was commissioned by Prince-Archbishop of Salzburg Count Leopold Anton Eleutherius von Firmian in 1736. It is surrounded by the Leopoldskroner Weiher (pond) in Salzburg.
St. Peter's Abbey
This is the oldest monastery in the German-speaking world; some say the oldest continuously active monastery North of the Alps.
