The Hollywood Sign
Set atop Mount Lee in the Hollywood Hills, this iconic sign has roots in the 1920s. It was originally built to be an ad for a real estate company and it said 'Hollywoodland.' Over time it has been in various states of repair, but a restoration project funded by notable Angelenos brought the sign to what it looks like today.
The Gamble House
LA is famous for its American Craftsman-style architecture. The Gamble House is one of the most notable homes in that style located in Pasadena, CA. Built in the early 1900s, this house was made especially famous, as Doc Brown called it home in Back to the Future.

The Bradbury Building
The Bradbury Building is famous for its stunning atrium, which is skylit and surrounded by ornate ironwork. It was built in 1893, making it one of the oldest standing buildings in downtown Los Angeles.
Watts Towers
Located in the Watts neighborhood of LA, these towers are a large, sculptural instalation by Sabato Rodia. Using mixed materials-from steel to mosaic tiles, this masterpiece took Rodia over 30 years to construct.
LAX's Theme Tower
When you arrive in Los Angeles via Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), you are greeted with a space-age-looking landmark that was once home to legend has it-a rotating restaurant.
Griffith Observatory
This iconic LA landmark opened its doors in 1935 on its original spot nestled into Mount Hollywood. With unobstructed views that stretch across the southland. This spot is made famous by many films, including Back to the Future.
