Lima, Peru
Lima is the capital and largest city in Peru. With a population of more than 9.5 million citizens, Lima is considered the cultural, political, and commerical center of the country.
Plaza de Armas
The birthplace of the city of Lima, The Plaza Mayor is located in the city's core, in the Historic Center of Lima. This 1,500-square-foot main square is surrounded by the Government Palace, Cathedral of Lima, Archbishop's Palace of Lima, and the Palace of Union.
Museo Larco
The Larco Museum was founded in 1926 by Rafael Larco Hoyle, who with the help of his father acquired several archeological collections from Peru's northern coast. These 45,000 pieces started Larco's devotion to the study of Ancient Peru. Today, visitors can walk between shelves containing thousands of cataloged ancient pottery artifacts. Parque del Amor
The Park of Love is Lima's most famous park. Overlooking the ocean, this landscaped park features an iconic kissing sculpture, mosaic walls, and a snack stand. Both tourists and locals alike come to enjoy the salty air and scenic views.
Huaca Pucllana
Huaca Pucllana is an adobe and clay pyramid built from seven staggered platforms. The pyramid, which was built by Lima culture, a Pre-Incan indigenous coastal tribe, formerly served as an important ceremonial center. These ruins mark what was once the urban heart of this lost civilization.
Convento de San Francisco
Saint Francis Monastery is one of the most visited places in all of Lima. The church and convent are part of the Historic Centre of Lima, which in 1991, was included in the UNESCO World Heritage List.
Miraflores
Miraflores is a coastal district of the Lima province. Its upscale restaurants, shopping, and nightlife make it a popular destination. A scenic walk along the Miraflores cliffs is recommended to all visitors of the city.

Located in downtown Lima, the Park of the Reserve hosts the "Magic Water Circuit" light show with colorful water displays, lasers, music, and sometimes fireworks!
