Wat Benchamabophit Dusitvanaram
Known to tourists as the "Marble Temple," it is one of Bangkok's most beautiful temples and a major tourist attraction. Built in 1899, this Buddhist temple is constructed from italian marble.
Wat Arun
This temple's full name is Wat Arun Ratchawararam Ratchawaramahawihan. It gets its name from the Hindu god, Aruna. There has been a temple on this site since the 1600s.
Wat Phra Kaew
In English known as the Emerald Buddha Temple is the most sacred Buddhist temple in Thailand. It is part of the Grand Palace, one of the most visited sites in the country.
Wat Phra Si Sanphet
These temple ruins are located in the old Siam capital Ayutthaya historical architecture of Thailand. It was originally constructed in 1350 and is thought to be the inspiration for Wat Phra Kaew.
Wat Traimit Withayaram Worawihan
In english, known as the Temple of Golden Buddha is located at the end of Chinatown's Yaowarat Road, Wat Traimit houses the world's largest massive gold seated Buddha measuring nearly five meters in height and weighing five and a half tons. In the past, artisans crafted the Buddhas in gold and disguised them from invading armies by a covering of stucco and plaster.
