Enjoy Views from the Pacific Crest Trail
The Pacific Crest Trail (PCT) is a scenic 2,653-mile hiking trail spanning California, Oregon, and Washington. Hikers start at the US-Mexico border on this 3-5 month-long through-hike and end up at the US-Canada border, or vice versa.

Sequoia National Park
The PCT is considered one of the most beautiful hiking trails in the world. Among many national parks, hikers pass through California's Giant Sequoias. These groves are made up of the tallest and largest trees in the world.
Mount Whitney Trail Crest
The hike is challenging and features a lot of elevation gain. Mount Whitney is the highest mountain in the contiguous United States, with an elevation of 14,505 feet.
Yosemite National Park
Yosemite National Park is a beautiful stop on the Pacific Crest Trail. Located in California's Sierra Nevada mountains, it's famous for its tunnel view, pictured above. Yosemite contains nearly 70 miles of the PCT.
Sequoia National Park
Most people hike 10–20 miles a day, with an average of 16 miles daily. A few elite athletes have been able to finish the PCT in 2 months. According to the Pacific Crest Trail Association, those who do achieve sub-100 day hikes are conquering well over 30 miles a day.
Dewey Lake
The sights along the PCT are a visual delight in the spring and summer seasons. Dewey Lake offers beautiful flowers, expansive views, ripe berries, and great campsites. By late July, hikers say the smell of fresh lupine fills the air.
Mount Hood
The Mount Hood Forest section of the PCT is 130 miles along. Trillium Lake offers beautiful views, located next to Mount Hood – an active stratovolcano, 50 miles from Portland.
Mt. Rainier National Park
Purple arctic lupine flowers bloom in front of Mount Rainier, the largest stratovolcano in the Pacific Northwest. This beautiful sight welcomes hikers to one of the final phases of their hike, Washington to the Canada border.
