Auckland

Auckland is the north island's biggest metropolitan city. Their most iconic views can be seen from Mount Eden at sunset and include the Sky Tower and Harbour Bridge.

Shotover River, Queenstown, Otago, South Island

Central Otago is most known for being the location of New Zealand's largest gold rush. Now, remnants of the city's history exist in the form of abandoned steam engines.

Coronet Peak

Views of the snowy peaks of Coronet Peak can be seen from Skippers Canyon. This scenic area is a short distance from Queenstown, which is New Zealand's Gold Mine capital. With its history, it's no surprise that today, tourism is its biggest gold mine.

Bridge in Skippers Canyon

The original bridge was built at the end of the 19th century to serve miners attracted by the 1860s gold rush. Today the bridge is popular amongst tourists for bungee jumping.

Motukieke Beach

Motukiekie is a Maori name that comes from Motu meaning island and Kiekie meaning a branched woody plant native to New Zealand. This off-the-beaten-path beauty is within South Island's West Coast.

Fiordland National Park

With iconic views of Milford Sound, Fiordland National Park houses awestriking waterfalls, fiords, shimmering lakes, and majestic peaks. Fiords are long, narrow u-shaped valleys that have been carved out by glacial flooding.
