Meet Willow: The White House's First Cat
The White House just got a new resident, and she's a 2-year-old Tabby named Willow. Willow joins Commander, a German shepherd puppy, as the presidential pets roaming the White House halls.
First Lady of the United States, Dr. Jill Biden, first met Willow on a campaign stop when she jumped on-stage. Onlookers remarked that their bond was "immediate." Talk about a lucky farm cat!

The last time there was a cat living in the White House was under President George W. Bush, who had a beloved black cat named India.

We are excited to see the joy Willow will bring the first family, and cat lovers everywhere!
